Generating the images that architects and investors fall in love with isn’t easy. It takes time, creativity, and space: it takes a special combination of factors that can’t be taught in school. So how do young creatives discover for themselves?
Mir is an architectural visualisation company based in Bergen, Norway. They craft the images that architects and developers use to drive their projects forward. Renowned firms such as Zaha Hadid, Snøhetta and Thomas Heatherwick have all used Mir’s services.
Co-founder Trond had drafted the chapters and sketches for a book to inspire the next generation of architectural visualisers, but needed the support and editing to take his notes to a publishing-ready manuscript.
We provided the friendly ear, and took their book The Mir Way through three edits and final proofing of pages to final publication.
“It feels good to have someone standing by your side when you make your thoughts public. Someone who can say: This is good enough. Ed is that trustworthy guy that you need.”
