Camden Market is a diverse community of creative sellers, street food traders and independent stores in North West London. Opening in 1974 as a small arts and crafts fair in the backyard of Dingwalls, Camden Market is now made up of 1000+ vendors and open 7 days a week.

With the past creating preconceptions of the area, the giant of British culture required a dynamic new identity to encourage visitors and to create a positive image.

After numerous workshops with stakeholders and the Co-learn Collective, we uncovered the brand’s goals, the perception of the market, and the visitors to target. From our research, we crafted a sociable, authentic and playful tone of voice.

From the strapline to the brand story and website copy,  the tone of voice weaves through all communications. The rebrand celebrates the heritage to help change the market's future.
